 AshaShari Bennett-Speer (Asha) and Ahsin met five years ago at a belly dance workshop and have been steadfast friends ever since. Asha dances with her husband Geoff accompanying her on the doumbek. Geoff is an accomplished muscian with a wide repetoir of instruments. This dynamic duo always makes a big splash at haflas. AmerahAnita Bowen (Amerah) is a long-time friend of Ahsin. Amerah is an amazing dancer that is extraodinary to watch. Her great joy of dancing is reflected her smile while she performs. Zafira DaimaZafira is a long-time friend and an incredible belly dancer. Her speciality is the sword. Zafira has been a guest-teacher for this special style and has always been a huge hit among Ahsin's students. RaviaRavia is another long-time friend and guest instructor for Ahsin's classes. Ravia teaches private lessons and workshops all over the east coast and does a fabulous veil! |
